Southern Cross Care Allora offers two aged care facilities in close proximity to each other to residents with varying level of care needs.

Allora Nursing Home (High Care)
At Allora Nursing Home most residents have their own rooms, the staff focuses on meeting the needs of each individual and special dietary requirements are catered for.

The facility has 21 aged care beds and is for those who require high care.

The Homestead Hostel (Low Care)
The Homestead is a 28 bed aged care facility is provided for residents able to enjoy a little more independence.

The Homestead is based around the own home concept with residents enjoying the freedom to come and go as they please but with the added benefit of a laundry service, shared dining and regular companionship.

Our personal carers are available to help with dressing, showering and other personal needs as required. The focus is to keep residents engaged and enjoying life, so our Diversional Therapist organises an array of activities and outings each day.

There is an additional room dedicated for respite, to provide a break for dedicated full time careers.

Our resident's food preferences, dislikes, cultural needs and nutrition requirements are considered and feedback on this service is always welcomed.

There is a Food Safety Plan and full HACC Certification in place to ensure that the service provided meets required standards. The service is available to all HACC eligible clients and all clients referred will receive the service as there is no waiting list.

The Homestead provides limited Ageing in Place

SINGLE ROOM Standard room with private ensuite. The light and airy rooms of SCC Allora Homestead each have access to the outdoor garden areas and have a reverse cycle air-conditioning, built in wardrobe and bench top. The rooms are also furnished with a bed, visitors chair, bedside cabinet and chest of drawers. Minimum room size 16.88m2.
