Elgar Home, located in Box Hill North, is a Supported Residential Service (SRS) offering compassionate care in a comfortable and home-like environment. Catering to individuals who require varying levels of support, Elgar Home provides personalised care that ensures residents’ well-being and dignity are prioritised. 

Our facility was named after long-term Coburg resident and Mayoress, Dorothy Impey. Dorothy, with ladies from the Coburg Benevolent Society, commenced a Meals on Wheels service for the elderly people in the area. Through this work she saw a need for hostel-type accommodation. 

The new Abberfield Aged Care Facility is a unique 70 bed accredited residence located in the bayside suburb of Sandringham.
