Part of Mayflower

Ultimately, our aim is to promote the independence, lifestyle and social relationships of our residents in a secure and harmonious environment.

At Mayflower we consult with every new resident and their family representative to develop an individually tailored Care Plan that meets the needs and wishes of that resident. This Care Plan is monitored and reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that Mayflower responds to any changes in health status or requirements.

Special Care Services:

Dementia Care

Our specialised care for residents living with dementia is based on industry best practice principles.  We endeavour to involve these residents in meaningful everyday activities that provide stimulation and engagement. The built environment at Brighton provides safe and secure areas including a courtyard garden.

Palliative Care

For our residents needing palliative care we focus, through our individualised Care Plans and consultation process, on meeting the wishes of residents and family members.  We promote a safe, quiet and peaceful environment which is dignified, respectful and compassionate for our palliative care residents.

Mayflower Brighton provides families/carers caring for loved ones at home with a safe and secure environment so that they can take a well-earned rest free from the responsibility of day to day care.  We welcome our respite residents and ensure that they are supported for the period that they are entrusted to our care.
