Our facility was named after long-term Coburg resident and Mayoress, Dorothy Impey. Dorothy, with ladies from the Coburg Benevolent Society, commenced a Meals on Wheels service for the elderly people in the area. Through this work she saw a need for hostel-type accommodation. 

The Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) is a prominent Australian non-profit organisation dedicated to addressing social injustice and poverty. Established in the 1930s, BSL works to create a more equitable society through various programs and services that support individuals and communities.

Brunswick Lodge is a 27-bed aged care facility dedicated to providing both permanent and respite care for seniors. Located in a welcoming and comfortable environment, Brunswick Lodge offers a range of services designed to meet the individual needs of each resident. The facility focuses on delivering high-quality care through a team of compassionate and skilled professionals who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for all residents.

Boyne Russell House, part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital, is a dedicated aged care facility providing high-quality care for 30 residents. The facility offers a choice of 14 single rooms and eight double shared rooms, ensuring a comfortable and secure environment tailored to the needs of each resident. Boyne Russell House focuses on delivering personalised care with a professional and compassionate team available around the clock to assist with daily living activities, medical needs, and emotional support.

Sacred Heart Mission in Victoria stands as a beacon of hope and compassion, dedicated to serving and supporting vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness, social isolation, and disadvantage. Since its establishment in 1982, the mission has been at the forefront of providing essential services and programs aimed at addressing the root causes of homelessness and supporting individuals on their journey towards stability and empowerment. From meals and accommodation to healthcare, social support, and employment opportunities, Sacred Heart Mission offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of the community.

Cambridge House, located in Collingwood, Victoria, is a 30-bed aged care facility operated by St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM). This facility provides comprehensive care and support to elderly residents, ensuring their health and well-being through a range of tailored services. Residents benefit from the Commonwealth subsidy under the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI), which helps cover the cost of their care.

Glenville Lodge in Glenroy, Victoria, is a specialised aged care facility offering 79 beds for residents requiring various levels of support, including assistance with health decline, dementia care, post-operative recovery, and respite.

The CraigCare Plumpton Villa aged care facility is housed in a splendid heritage listed building. This majestic old structure is the heart and history of the Glenroy suburb and reminds you of your days growing up in Melbourne.
