Castledare Village is a vibrant community, a place where you’ll feel immediately welcomed and at home. Love and respect are the pillars of this Village and it’s noticeable as soon as you arrive.

Comprising 46 villas, it’s your choice between two- or three-bedroom villas. Each villa has a large open living space, private courtyard, and individual garage with plenty of space for storage.

The village is co-located with a Residential Care home, where our villa owners are welcome to take part in the activities and wide range of services on offer. Some popular activities and services include hairdressing, pastoral care and the onsite chapel, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy.

There’s also a community centre at the heart of the village in which you’re invited to make yourself at home. The community centre hosts activities such as films, carpet bowls, live concerts, playing pool and many social events, it’s your choice to do what you like.

An onsite chef prepares fresh meals daily which you’re welcome to enjoy either at the community centre or back at your villa. The village is safe and secure with around the clock security.

The dedicated and caring retirement village team are available if you need help with daily tasks. You’re also welcome to take advantage of our Home Care services if you need support with day to day living for example you may need someone to accompany you to an appointment or family event like a wedding.

Set against a backdrop of trees, lawns and traditional gardens, Castledare Village is a vibrant, caring, and welcoming community.

Catholic Homes has shared the wonderful news that Associate Professor Rosanna Capolingua, a valued member of the Catholic Homes Board, has been honoured with the prestigious Member of the Order of Australia in the 2023 King's Birthday Honours. This esteemed recognition was announced by the Honorable David Hurley, the Governor-General of Australia, in acknowledgment of Prof Capolingua's exceptional contributions to patient care, medicine, and her inspiring role as a female leader.
