Right on the coast in Bunbury, our village is at the gateway to the South West, close to public transport, the local lawn bowls club and a number of shopping centres.

There’re 42 private rooms with ensuite bathrooms, it’s a small, loving community. Ocean Star runs in line with our Values of Joy, Love and Hospitality, here you’ll be listened to and treated with respect and admiration.
Your dedicated lifestyle Coordinator organises a social and activity calendar giving you the opportunity to venture on excursions and to keep doing the things you love to do. Our on-site chef prepares fresh, delicious meals - our lunch and dinner meals being self-serve, allowing you to choose your own meals. Residents enjoy regular health and wellbeing classes with our Allied Health Team and our Pastoral Care team are available to you and your family.
Ocean Star Village provides residential aged care, booked respite beds and non-dedicated respite.

Catholic Homes has shared the wonderful news that Associate Professor Rosanna Capolingua, a valued member of the Catholic Homes Board, has been honoured with the prestigious Member of the Order of Australia in the 2023 King's Birthday Honours. This esteemed recognition was announced by the Honorable David Hurley, the Governor-General of Australia, in acknowledgment of Prof Capolingua's exceptional contributions to patient care, medicine, and her inspiring role as a female leader.
A new award to recognise and celebrate the aged care workforce has been presented at Catholic Homes. Hotel Services worker Chantelle Gare received an Aged Care Angel Award this week for her dedication and commitment to residents and colleagues at Ocean Star Aged Care in Bunbury.
The peak healthcare hospitality body in Western Australia has acknowledged the outstanding dedication of an aged care worker who has gone above and beyond in improving the lives of residents and staff. Hotel Services Worker Robyn Gibbons of Catholic Homes’ Ocean Star residence was bestowed the Institute of Hospitality In HeathCare’s (IHHC) Brightest Star Award at its state awards ceremony held recently in Fremantle.
