Dedicated Staff Assignment
Our Relationship First Approach to celebrating and supporting old age is not only unique to Arcare, it’s also considered by aged care experts globally to be at the forefront of elder-care.
One of the most important ways of supporting the development of these relationships is our internationally recognised Dedicated Staff Assignment, which we won a 2015 Better Practice Award from the Australian Aged Quality Agency.
Arcare’s Dedicated Staff Assignment involves all staff committing to work regular shifts with exactly the same small group of residents every time they come to work.

Arcare communities across Australia showcased their talent, creativity, and individual flare in Arcare’s third annual Card Art competition. Residents from across Arcare’s 47 aged care residences in New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria, were encouraged to create original card designs to be included in Arcare’s greeting card range for 2022-2023.
To celebrate Aged Care Employee Day, Arcare Aged Care hosted events across their 47 aged care residences in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria by recognising long service team members and announcing the inaugural Star Awards nominations.
Arcare Oatlands and Arcare Glenhaven welcomed over 800 people to their Festive Market Days; offering a range of markets and workshops to help prepare for the festive season. Over 25 stalls holders provided the community with a vast choice of gifts, bath and body products, personalised presents and fresh produce.
Soft sand and sea breeze brought back memories for Arcare Glenhaven residents who made a special trip to Balmoral Beach. No matter your age, nothing beats fish and chips by the beach on a sunny day in Sydney.
