The majority of rooms overlook pretty gardens or courtyards, with glass sliding doors to the outside giving access to extensive gardens and many rooms have their own patios. The attractive windows in the ensuites create a pleasant space with natural lighting. We can also accommodate couples and do offer shared rooms at William Carey Court at a reduced rate. Video-chat technology has been taking seniors at Baptistcare’s William Carey Court Residential Care in Busselton on an underwater adventure eight metres below the ocean’s surface.
Forming friendships with some of Busselton’s most senior residents has proved to be a rich learning experience for a group of 17-year-old Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander boys from the Clontarf Foundation. The eight boys who were in the South West for a Leadership Camp spent the day at Baptistcare William Carey Court Residential Care in Busselton undertaking voluntary maintenance work and playing bingo, chatting and sharing afternoon tea with some of the elderly residents.
Residents at Baptistcare’s William Carey Court in Busselton are now on the move in grand style thanks to a generous grant of $49,665 from Lotterywest.
