All cottages provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with the comforts of home. Each room incorporates a host of modern technologies and premium level finishes designed to make life more comfortable for those who are frail aged.
We ensure all meals are freshly cooked on-site and we spend significantly more on each meal than industry average. We also offer residents a variety of social and recreational opportunities, with an on-site chapel, hair salon, garden and community centre.
Our staffing levels are higher than industry levels, with a high representation of registered nurses. We also have two trainers on-site who constantly ensure our care is of the highest standard.
We are always happy to organise a tour of the care home, or we can arrange to meet with you at a location that suits you and your family.
The bedrooms HammondCare Waratah have been designed to minimise confusion and maximise independence and comfort. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture, soft furnishings and mementos to make their rooms familiar and comfortable. Each of the large single bedrooms have an electronically adjustable bed, wall mounted TV, large window and a built-in wardrobe. All the bedrooms have an ongoing maintenance program to ensure that they are in the best possible condition for resident.
