Willow Wood has a range of features to make residents feel comfortable, from the landscaped gardens to the spacious lounges with piano and library facilities. There is an onsite salon, billiards table and a roster of activities to keep residents occupied right through to happy hour!
The rooms at Willow Wood are light and spacious, adorned differently by each resident with their own personal touches, photos and mementos. All rooms contain an ensuite, lockable cupboard, ceiling fan, built in robe and hydronic heating. Care encompasses clinical and palliative nursing, as well as dementia specific care. The approachable manager, dedicated team of personal care attendants and energetic support staff are on hand to tend residents’ needs.
A wide ranging activities program offers plenty of entertainment and social opportunity, with events like Christmas in July and special days for the Footy Grand Final, which are particularly celebrated at Willow Wood. There’s always some excuse to get dressed up, decorate the home and just have fun. To keep residents out and about, the Lifeview Bus takes regular trips discovering new possibilities and local happenings.
The dining experience at Willow Wood is heightened by delicious seasonal menus, based on information and surveys gathered from the resident food appreciation group. Tasty, freshly prepared meals are created daily by qualified chefs who cater to any special dietary requirements. Visitors are welcome to dine in.

Lifeview’s ‘Planting with a Purpose’ program has been named as a National Finalist for the ‘Enhancing Consumer Experience’ category in the 2022 InnovAGEING Awards. Planting with a Purpose is a collaboration between the Lifeview residents, chefs and gardeners, to cultivate and grow fresh produce for the Lifeview kitchens.
After two longs years Lifeview’s Positive Ageing Celebration (PAC) was back bigger and better this week. Residents and their families were invited to a magical Mad Hatter's Tea Party at the Springvale Town Hall on 20 October 2022. Greeted by characters from Alice in Wonderland, they enjoyed a High Tea, entertainment and most importantly, dancing!
Lifeview will host Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Friday, June 10, at its homes and corporate office. Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is a community event that raises vital funds to make a big difference for those impacted by cancer. Those who wish to host a morning tea and raise funds register online and receive a kit to help with the fundraiser.
Lifeview will run a special Men’s Health Week program at all its homes, from 13to 19 of June. Men's Health Week focuses on not just physical health, but also men's mental health and emotional wellbeing. During the week, health challenges faced by men will be highlighted and events that can be replicated year-round to improve the physical, emotional, and mental health of men will also be featured.
Lifeview residents were not going to let COVID stop them from participating in this year’s Pride March.
