Benetas was established in 1948 when a small group of volunteers from the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne responded to an urgent need to provide care and support to older Victorians. More than 60 years later we now operate as a not-for-profit organisation employing over 1,400 staff and 400 volunteers. As a not-for-profit, all revenue we generate is re-directed into our services to improve the lives of our clients.

Just a short drive from the Melbourne CBD, Gladswood Lodge is located in the quiet, residential neighbourhood of Brunswick West. Established in 1985, the home is well known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Fronditha Care Thornbury provides care and accommodation for 120 residents of a mainly Greek speaking background. Memory support is also offered for residents in need.

Benetas Broughton Hall, situated in the heart of Camberwell, first opened in 1948. With beautiful landscaped gardens surrounding the magnificent heritage listed ‘Tara’ mansion, Broughton Hall provides support for up to 65 residents. Every resident at Broughton Hall has a private room with built-in wardrobe and a personal ensuite bathroom.

Vasey RSL Care Brighton, which opened in 1998, is set in the beautiful gardens of the Kamesburgh property on the corner of North Road and Cochrane Street, Brighton. ANZAC Hostel provides single rooms with private ensuite facilities.
