Community Services #1 offers a range of in-home care and support services to support individuals aged 65 years or over through Home Care Packages and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).

The VHC program provides a range of home care services designed to maintain health, wellbeing and independence by offering a small amount of practical help on a short-term or ongoing basis.

Home Care Packages provide coordinated aged care services which aim to help you stay in your home.  Funding for these packages is heavily subsidised by the Australian Government. 

Nurse Next Door offers personalised in-home care services across its 60+ locations throughout Australia, delivering compassionate and tailored support to individuals in need. They specialise in dementia and Alzheimer's care, delivering sensitive and respectful assistance to individuals experiencing these conditions. Their services extend to end-of-life care, offering comfort and dignity during challenging times. In addition to these specialised care options, Nurse Next Door provides meal preparation, housekeeping, companionship, and personal care, enhancing the overall well-being and quality of life for their clients.

Day clubs can be a breath of fresh air, getting you out and about and meeting new friends. Our coordinators organise various activities so it’s always interesting. Goodwin Day Clubs are in quality and purpose-designed premises in Crace, Queanbeyan and Monash.

HomeMade ACT was created because people feel they don't have enough choice and control with traditional Home Care Package Providers. We understand how important it is for you to make your own decisions when choosing the right support.

As one of the largest and most trusted not-for-profit aged care providers, Uniting supports older people to stay living independently in their own homes across NSW and the ACT.  Choose from a wide range of customised home care services, available via a government-funded Home Care Package or through private payment.  

DVA provides veterans and war widows and widowers with access to a range of health care and related services, including community nursing services. These services are delivered by Uniting’s Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and support staff to enhance independence and health outcomes and avoid early admission to hospital and/or residential care.

The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) commenced on 1 July 2015 and is accessible only through the new aged care system called My Aged Care. 

If you are a carer for an elderly, frail person over the age of 65 or of someone living with dementia then we may be able to help you with our respite care services.
