NOW OPEN! Helping Hand Golden Grove is Helping Hand’s newest residential aged care home, located opposite The Grove Shopping Centre and close to local health care facilities. Building was completed in May 2019, with the home boasting state-of-the-art aged care facilities and accommodation for 110 residents. Golden Grove specialises in providing care and accommodation for members of the LGBTQI community.
A secure memory unit will open in June 2019, catering for the needs of those living with dementia and their families.
Beautiful landscaped gardens surround the residence, with the majority of rooms overlooking these tranquil areas. Rooms are well-appointed and comfortably furnished with electric beds, built-in-wardrobes, lockable storage, Nurse Call points, wide doors and individually controlled air-conditioning systems. There is also space for a telephone, TV, personal computer and bar fridge.
Several well-appointed and light-filled living areas are located throughout the home, giving residents a space to relax or spend time with visiting family and friends.
