At Mawson Lakes accommodation is provided for 110 residents, with provisions for those needing high and low level care. Short-term respite care is available. This enables families to have a break from their daily caring responsibilities.
Specialist dementia care is available in secure dementia units.
A broad range of individual activities are offered for your enjoyment. These activities include wheelchair walks, reminiscence groups, Easy Moves for Active Ageing, cooking and cultural days, quizzes, table games and entertainment such as sing-a-longs, concerts, big-screen movies and special event celebrations.
The Café at Mawson Lakes provides a welcoming place to share light refreshments or coffee with friends and family.
Personal development and lifestyle opportunities are also offered, including art and craft, community visitors scheme, volunteer programs and intergenerational events. Spiritual activities include weekly services, pastoral visits and fellowship group.
Helping Hand encourages independence in maintaining day to day skills, however as increased help is required, staff will tailor services specific to your needs.

The Short Term Unit at Mawson Lakes is an 11-place flexible option for accommodation. Guests can either utilise a room only or also receive other forms of support such as personal care. Rooms are serviced daily, with all meals provided. Each room has a television and a bar fridge. The aim is to provide timely, integrated support for people who are keen to remain living at home but require intermittent or short term support in a residential setting.
