At Benetas, we pride ourselves on delivering truly personalised, high-quality care, without interrupting your daily routine, so you can live longer at home and spend more time with your family and friends. Our team is more than just caregivers — they’re part of a close-knit, diverse family, connected to our community and a genuine commitment to providing the best care possible. Each team member lives and works within the local region, bringing a deep understanding of the local community and a genuine commitment to providing the best care possible. We have carers and support providers across Maribyrnong, Hobsons Bay, Melton, Wyndham, Brimbank, Moonee Valley and Darebin.
We understand that your needs are unique, and our team approach ensures that you receive collaborative, personalised care. Our Client Advisors, Carers and Registered Nurses are further supported by our strong network of local gardeners, handy persons, and other service providers. This means that whether you need respite or help with daily activities, home modifications, safety garden pruning, transport, shopping, meal prep, wound care, medication management or simply someone to talk to, we’ve got you covered.
Our staff reflects the rich cultural diversity of our community. With multi-lingual Client Advisors and Carers from a variety of multicultural backgrounds, we are equipped to communicate effectively and sensitively with clients from all walks of life. This diversity enriches our care and allows us to connect on a deeper level with each client, ensuring that their cultural preferences are met with respect and understanding.
Benetas has been supporting older Victorians for more than 75 years. Our local team based in Braybrook, with over 4 decades of experience in Case Management, work with our internal nursing staff and dedicated Carers to collaboratively provide comprehensive support. You can expect specialised support for Home Care Package recipients in Case management and the delivery of services such as Domestic Assistance, Personal Care and Flexible Respite Care to keep you safe and in your own home for as long as possible. For Community Home Support Program (CHSP) recipients we have funding to support Domestic Assistance, Personal Care, and Community Nursing. For Veterans Home Care recipients we have funding to support home care services and we are also an approved DVA Community Nursing Provider. However, our connections extend beyond typical services, as we are closely linked with social support groups, retirement living, and residential aged care, ensuring a continuum of care as your needs evolve.
At Benetas, you’re not just a client — you’re part of our family. We’re here to support you every step of the way, with a team that truly cares about your well-being.

Anglicare Australia has recently released a report, Life on the Wait List, which highlights that older Australians are spending months without support while they wait for care at home. It highlights that delays in accessing home care are resulting in older Australians being pushed into residential aged care and even hospitals as their health deteriorates.
The majority of older Victorians prefer to maintain their independence by staying in the family home as long as possible, according to the latest Benetas research*. Unfortunately, the same research suggests many of these same seniors are reluctant to seek out and receive home care.
