We understand that your needs are unique, and our team approach ensures that you receive collaborative, personalised care. Our direct carers and Registered Nurses and Allied Health Clinicians are further supported by our strong network of local gardeners, handy persons, and other service providers. This means that whether you need respite or help with daily activities or respite, social support, podiatry, dietetics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, home modifications, safety garden pruning, transport, shopping, meal prep, wound care, medication management or simply someone to talk to, we’ve got you covered.
Benetas has been supporting older Victorians for more than 75 years. Our local team, based in Gisborne and Bendigo have extensive experience in Case Management, our internal nursing and allied health staff and dedicated carers work together collaboratively to provide comprehensive support. You can expect specialised support in services such as Allied Health, Domestic Assistance, Personal Care, Flexible respite care, Home Maintenance, Home Modifications, Social Support and Nursing. However, our connections extend beyond typical services, as we are closely linked with social support group activity, rehabilitation support, retirement living, and residential aged care, ensuring a continuum of care as your needs evolve.

Anglicare Australia has recently released a report, Life on the Wait List, which highlights that older Australians are spending months without support while they wait for care at home. It highlights that delays in accessing home care are resulting in older Australians being pushed into residential aged care and even hospitals as their health deteriorates.
The majority of older Victorians prefer to maintain their independence by staying in the family home as long as possible, according to the latest Benetas research*. Unfortunately, the same research suggests many of these same seniors are reluctant to seek out and receive home care.
