Gladswood Lodge has 51 places, with ageing-in-place available should a resident’s needs progress. Nurses are staffed 24 hours a day, and allied health services are also accessible onsite.
Private rooms have climate control, access to shared bathrooms and views of the home’s beautiful landscaped gardens. Residents are welcome to adorn their rooms with their own personal effects. Phone and internet connection is also available.
Close links to the community ensure Gladswood Lodge residents have the opportunity to stay connected to their local church, whichever their faith. Volunteers are welcomed into the home to provide entertainment and spiritual support. They support staff in organising outings beyond the facility that help residents maintain their relationships and community presence.
Nutritious and tasty meals are prepared daily onsite at Gladswood Lodge. Cooks work closely with a dietician to ensure nutritional value in all meals. Using fresh produce, the kitchen staff work to cater a range of cultural and religious requirements. Regular food forums ensure residents have a say on future menu items.
Staff and residents are encouraged to bring a level of pastoral sensibility to their roles. Denominational visitors and volunteer companions support staff in conducting meaningful lifestyle programs that foster an ongoing connection with the residents’ chosen faith traditions.

Some rooms have close access to common areas, including living area, dining room, sitting room and kitchenette. Some rooms have a shared bathroom with one other resident of the same gender.
