This was the 3rd aged care facility that my father who has dementia has been to. Beuhler Aged Care have three facilities in their ownership with Clarinda Manor their most recent. My dad is in the Dementia specific unit. We all (mum, dad and I) are extremely happy and thankful for the daily care that they provide to him. He has settled in extremely well. They only have dedicated and trained PCA's. Their staff are very caring and actually want to help understand the differences of each resident. I truly believe that each resident needs to be matched to the facility. The best way for residents to get the best care is by the family communicating the needs/behaviours of their loved ones. Clarinda Manor were very thankful with the information that we provided, and they worked with us to ensure dad was settled in really well. As with any aged care facility that deal with difficult situations - they have their fair share of difficulties which they always communicate with the residents families in a really prompt and professional. Overall, we are extremely happy and are truly grateful for the staff and management - Robyn (General Manager) was truly welcoming and accommodating regarding payment options as well.

The wellbeing of Benetas Clarinda on the Park is on the rise thanks to state-of-the-art Tovertafel technology, which uses fun and interactive games to support older people, including those with dementia. The ceiling-mounted technology, which projects interactive games onto flat surfaces, was installed at the home in October.
Benetas welcomes the three recommendations made by the Committee of Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) to address serious workforce issues facing the aged care sector. Today’s Duty of Care: Aged-Care Sector Running on Empty report calls for the implementation of a user-pay aged care system with income or asset thresholds, ensuring the long-term viability of the sector.
Victorian not-for-profit aged care provider, Benetas, today finalised the acquisition of Clarinda on the Park, a 90 bed aged care home in the Melbourne south east suburb of Clarinda.
