Single rooms with private ensuites and climate control are available at Benetas - Dalkeith Gardens Aged Care Apartments. Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture and personal items. Benetas - Dalkeith Gardens Aged Care Apartments provides a bed and offers full laundry service. A phone connection is available from the rooms and internet is accessible from the shared hub in the common areas.
With multiple lounges, dining rooms and barbeque entertainment areas, residents have plenty of comfortable spots to host visitors. The beautifully landscaped gardens are great for quiet refuge, while the raised garden beds require much tending and loving care from the resident green thumbs.
Delicious and nutritious meals are the pride of Benetas - Dalkeith Gardens Aged Care Apartments. Cooks work closely with dieticians to ensure all nutritional requirements are being met. Cultural and religious diets are also observed. Residents’ tastes are represented as much as possible.
Staff and volunteers bring a level of pastoral sensibility to all roles. A specialist team of non-denominational volunteers provide ongoing spiritual and emotional support to the residents through church and chaplaincy services.

The Benetas Best Life Model of Care is built around 8 individual room apartments sharing a kitchen, dining room and living space. All residents have 24 hour access to a registered nurse, as well as enrolled nurses.

Deluxe Room
Our Deluxe rooms enjoy beautiful garden or courtyard views depending upon location, and were newly refurbished in December 2019. All residents have 24 hour access to a registered nurse, as well as additional enrolled nurses during the day.

The catering company providing food for Benetas’ Dalkeith Gardens residents has been honoured with a 2023 National Restaurant and Catering Award for the food served at the Traralgon aged care home.
Benetas welcomes the three recommendations made by the Committee of Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) to address serious workforce issues facing the aged care sector. Today’s Duty of Care: Aged-Care Sector Running on Empty report calls for the implementation of a user-pay aged care system with income or asset thresholds, ensuring the long-term viability of the sector.
Victorian aged care provider, Benetas, announced it will relocate its Hazelwood House residents in Churchill to the state of the art Traralgon facility in November this year. The move is part of its five-year strategic plan to support all residents under its industry leading new model of care.
Benetas is bringing a new look to aged care in Victoria. Dalkeith Hostel, in Traralgon, is undergoing an expansion and refurbishment which will support Benetas’ new model of care, focused around supporting residents and their ageing journey.
