mecwacare has been caring for the Victorian community since 1959 and has a proud history of providing Disability Services to meet the needs of our clients.  We offer a variety of programs with choice, diversity and active community participation. Programs and services can be purchased as group based, one to one care or as a combination of both. Services are tailored to people with an intellectual disability and/ or physical and psychological disability who want to be independent in accessing their community.

Our focus is on providing community inclusiveness and a strong support network for all of our clients, recognising and understanding the diverse needs, interests and abilities of all people. mecwacare staff offer educational programs and community inclusion for our participants by tailoring programs to meet their individual interests, educational requirements and daily living skills. The programs we offer:

mecwacare’s Disability Services support participants from all regions of Melbourne. Daily fees are payable and transport is available for clients. mecwacare is also a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider.
