By collaborating with donors and partners, the Foundation raises essential funds that directly support the health and aged care services across Mercy Health facilities.
Demand to participate in the Mercy Health Bethlehem Home for the Aged and Catherine McAuley College Bendigo iGEN (intergenerational education nexus) program has reached new heights in 2024 after 2023 saw another wonderful year of connection and relationship building.

Pope Francis this year announced World Day of Grandparents and the Elderly, a new celebration in honour of the older people who are important in our lives and communities. Two of Mercy Health’s aged care homes – Mercy Place Warrnambool and Mercy Health Bethlehem home for the Aged – took the opportunity to celebrate their resident grandparents.
