Responding to overwhelming demand, TLC Healthcare has officially launched the final release of residential aged care rooms at Homestead Estate, cementing its status as one of Victoria’s largest and most sophisticated residential aged care precincts.

A groundbreaking study into the emotional impact of a multi-generational approach to aged care has shown remarkable benefits not just to elderly residents but to children in early learning centres co-located within integrated aged care precincts. The University of Melbourne study looked at the innovative JELLYFISH Intergenerational Program at TLC’s Mordialloc healthcare precinct, which features an aged care home and a co-located TLC Early Learning Centre, as well as other health, fitness, and lifestyle amenities.
TLC Healthcare has partnered with Australian company, Femmé Organic, to supply 100% organic cotton and toxic-free tampons and pads to its largely female employee cohort (82%), across all TLC locations and brands, at no cost to the employee.

TLC CEO Lou Pascuzzi has announced today there is no reason aged care homes cannot provide 24/7 nursing staff to care for their residents. “We certainly didn’t have to wait for a Royal Commission to tell us we needed 24/7 registered nursing staff. We’ve had Registered Nurses (RN’s) on staff 24/7 since the inception of the company. We see it as being clinically necessary when providing this level of care to our residents."
Melbourne-based aged care provider, TLC Aged Care, has announced that all visitors to their aged care homes will be required to take a rapid COVID-19 test and return a negative result before entry.
TLC Aged Care is the first residential aged care provider of its size to complete the vaccination of their 1,500 residents, and 2,000 staff and contractors against COVID-19.
