Benetas was established in 1948 when a small group of volunteers from the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne responded to an urgent need to provide care and support to older Victorians. More than 60 years later we now operate as a not-for-profit organisation employing over 1,400 staff and 400 volunteers. As a not-for-profit, all revenue we generate is re-directed into our services to improve the lives of our clients.

Vasey RSL Care is a not for profit organisation which has grown from a long history of care provision to the ex-service community. Their professional and caring staff have many years of experience in the aged care field, combined with a sound knowledge of the special needs of the veteran community. Accommodation in Vasey RSL Care Residential Aged Care Facilities is offered to all with applications from the general public most welcome and as a priority to war widows, veterans and their dependants.

Vasey RSL Care Brighton, which opened in 1998, is set in the beautiful gardens of the Kamesburgh property on the corner of North Road and Cochrane Street, Brighton. ANZAC Hostel provides single rooms with private ensuite facilities.
