Resthaven Marion Community Services (Goodwood) offers the full range of in-home support services, and a health and wellness centre, enabling you to remain living independently at home.
Trained Resthaven home support workers deliver services in your home, or at the Resthaven Marion Community Services office in Goodwood. There is also another office located in Marion.
Services are delivered in a way that supports and respects your choices, independence, and privacy, providing peace of mind. You may choose to receive support with household tasks, home maintenance, shopping, social activities, keeping healthy, personal care and nursing care.
The range of programs available are tailored to meet the diverse needs of older adults, promoting independence, well-being, and social connection.
Resthaven has launched a new government-funded program which aims to support older South Australians living with dementia to stay at home for as long as possible. The ‘Staying at Home in Regional South Australia’ program forms part of the Government’s response to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, and aims to provide vital education and support to carers whilst their loved one is cared for in the same location by experienced staff.
This month, Resthaven Marion Community Services social group, Men on the Move, enjoyed an unexpected day out, and certainly one for the books! For History Month, Coordinator, Monika Lyckholm, planned a visit for the group to the Port Adelaide Football Club Museum, located at The Precinct, Alberton Oval.
