Reynella Hillside Care Community offers both permanent and respite care, setting new standards in residential care with modern and high quality facilities and care. The residence has been designed to create a community environment that focuses on a high quality of life. 

At Reynella Hillside Care Community, residents living in small communities of around 15 people. Each community features a modern and light-filled communal kitchen, dining and lounge area and a dedicated activity space.

The brand new wing at Reynella Hillside Care Community doesn’t feel like a traditional nursing home, but more like a boutique hotel. Each room features its own ensuite, timber finishes and beautiful artwork.

Instead of having nurse call bells or sensor mats on the floor of each room, residents at Reynella Hillside Care Community wear a mobile call system – a little like a Fitbit. With this device, staff are able to monitor residents and their whereabouts and residents can call for help from wherever they are. This encourages mobility and provides a profound feeling of security.

A wide range of engagement opportunities and activities are offered, with support teams dedicated to making life as rich and meaningful as possible for residents.

Opal HealthCare Set to Expand with Acquisition of BlueCross Aged Care and Home Care Services

In approximately June this year and subject to regulatory approvals, ownership of BlueCross’ 31 Aged Care Residences and its Home Care services will be transferred to Opal HealthCare.
