Uniting AgeWell – Strathdevon provides a close-knit and welcoming community for retirees, located just 15 minutes from the centre of Devonport, in the beautiful suburb of Latrobe.

Independent Living Units

Our independent living units include 10 two-bedroom units. All of our units are onsite and have rental options available, with payments made on a fortnightly basis. All units include a garage.

Location

We are conveniently located within walking distance of Mersey Community Hospital, so you know medical care is never far away.

We are located approximately 15 minutes away from Devonport’s centre.

Devonport is a busy, coastal city and is close to some of Tasmania’s best natural sites such as the beautiful Cradle Mountain. It’s the gateway to the north west of the state and offers a bounty of fresh produce to enjoy.

There’s plenty of great activities you can partake in thanks to the area’s natural beauty, including fishing, kayaking, sailing, rowing or enjoy a stroll by the great beaches.
You’ll find plenty of trails for walking and cycling, including Aboriginal rock carvings on The Bluff coastal trail.

There’s plenty of stunning public parks in the area, with so much fresh produce grown locally in the Mersey-Forth Valley, you’ll find plenty of great local meals and farm gate treasures.

Village Life

Our retirement village is located next to a residential aged care home, which regularly arranges social activities that our retirement residents are welcome to join in with.

We also provide Home Care Packages for those that need a bit of extra help with day-to-day living activities. Home Care Packages Levels 1-4 are available.
