Uniting AgeWell – Yernga provides a variety of living options in independent retirement living units for active and independent seniors, located on a quiet street just a stone’s throw from Blackburn Road in the Melbourne suburb of Mount Waverley.

Village Features and Services

Our retirement village offers a variety of services and amenities to our residents. You can practice a game of tennis one of our four tennis courts, enjoy the serenity in our central gardens or see what’s on at our community hall. The choice is yours!

Independent Living Units

There are 22 one-bedroom units and nine two-bedroom units that share beautiful communal spaces.

Location

We are conveniently located close to public transport, shops and amenity.

It’s a short drive to the train station, making it easy to get around Melbourne. We’re also close to The Glen shopping centre, one of the largest shopping centres in the area where you’ll find plenty of cafes, speciality stores, chain stores, professional services and much more.

Additional Support

When the time comes, Uniting AgeWell makes the sometimes difficult process of moving into residential aged care seamless.  Priority is given to Uniting AgeWell independent retirement living residents when transitioning to one of their aged care facilities.

Fees

Daily fees apply and cover land rates, water rates, maintenance and gardening.  The resident is responsible for their own utility fees.
