Welcome to Uniting AgeWell Latrobe Community, Strathdevon, our well-established and close-knit residence south of Devonport.

With 37 single rooms with outdoor patio or balcony, ensuites and generous built-in wardrobes, Strathdevon supports you to age well with high quality, flexible care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Residents can take advantage of the beautiful gardens, use the barbecue facilities or take part in the dynamic and engaging activities program, including range of in-house activities and social outings, themed days and guest entertainers.

There is a bar with pool table, video and music area for relaxing get-togethers.

This single occupancy room with private ensuite is in our Premium room range which measure from 14.7 (m2) to 14.8 (m2), excluding the bathroom. Every room is fully carpeted, with a modern adjustable electric bed, bed side cabinet, wardrobe and chair. The ensuite has a shower chair and vinyl flooring. Each room offers courtyard or garden views, or panoramic views beyond the car park. There is ready access to outdoor areas with seating, a courtyard, dining areas, a sitting room with open gas fire, a library and an indoor Men's Shed.

  • Personal and confidential information: Do not post reviews that contain the personal and confidential information of another person.
  • Spam Content: Please no spam. Reviews should be a genuine reflection of your experience with an aged care provider. Do not include promotional content or advertising in any form. Duplicate material will not be accepted.

Federal Minister for Aged Care and Senior Australians Senator Richard Colbeck officially opened the revamped Uniting AgeWell Latrobe Community, Strathdevon. Senator Colbeck congratulated Uniting AgeWell on its $10 million investment in aged care services in north-west Tasmania, and unveiled a plaque naming the new Henley Wing.
