Uniting AgeWell – Wesley Court provides a welcoming and close-knit community for retirees. The village is located in South Launceston, a beautiful suburb located less than 10 minutes from the Launceston city centre.
The retirement village is also located next to a residential aged care home, which has a regular calendar of social events and outings. Residents in the independent living accommodation are welcome to join in.
By being co-located on a residential aged care site, this means that extra support is available to you when you need it.
Independent Living Accommodation
We have 18 one-bedroom and 15 two-bedroom units available, with an affordable rental fee payable on a fortnightly basis.
Each independent living unit includes an allocated carport or a garage.
Location
We are conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the Kings Meadows Retail centre, where you’ll find many major retail outlets and amenity. This includes major supermarkets such as Coles, bakeries including Bakers Delight and services including Australia Post, newsagencies, insurance outlets and optometrist.
There’s also plenty of retail stores including Millers, Noni B as well as cafes and restaurants.
We’re close to the local medical centre, which is on the main bus route towards Launceston.
