Located in Wantirna South, Latvian Aged Care provides care and accommodation for residents in a friendly and welcoming home-like environment. Care types catered for include permanent care, respite care, dementia care and palliative care.
Our home offers a welcoming, homely environment open to people from all cultural backgrounds. With a Baltic European feel and heritage, we have our roots deeply in Melbourne’s multi-cultural community and are excited to share our home with all older Australians. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and we welcome applications from concessional residents.
Single rooms with private ensuites are well-appointed, with a single bed, plenty of storage, nurse call, heating/cooling, and garden views.
A secure outdoor area offers residents the ideal setting to enjoy a stroll through the garden and sit and soak up the sunshine and even help look after the garden beds.
A wide range of events and activities are regularly held at the home, catering to different needs, abilities, and interests. Activities include sing-alongs, happy hour, meditation, concerts, exercise classes, board games and more.
Family and friends are welcomed to visit often, and even share a meal (by prior arrangement) with their loved one and become part of the close-knit community.

Classic Room
Carpeted room with ample wardrobe storage, private en-suite, quality drapes, heating/cooling, nurse call, garden views. Each room is regularly refurbished and comes with a bed, lockable bedside table and over bed table.
